Question OT: Does anyone use government bid website?

We are looking at bidding on the government bid website? Does anyone have any experiences good or bad?

We've bid and won many contracts in this manner. This site looks like the Commerce Business Daily which shows most things the government is looking to procure. It is competitive and it ranges from electronics, to road paving, to food supplies.

What kind of item are you looking to provide a bid for?

We have supplied a few trailers for the Army from that site. We ordered from the manufacturer and had them drop shipped. I am mainly looking at the wire rope, chain sling, and rigging stuff(section 40). I just started this rigging branch of our company and figured we may not make much margin on this, but it will make our sales numbers look better.
