Check this out...I received this e mail from a good buddy this weekend. I know there are a lot of Muscle car guys like me out there so I figured I'd post it. If I had the room I'd buy it! Anyways ...62.5k takes it!
Read below
I have run out of room. So, since I have 2 of these and they're real long and take up a bunch of space I am selling this one.
This car is a 1970 Plymouth Superbird. (a fine piece of NASCAR history) The car is a older restoration but still looks good. I watched a less desirable Red Superbird in not as near condition sell for $102,000.00 + 8% buyers premium at the Barrett Jackson Auction last month in West Palm Beach.
This is a original 440-6 Barrel car and comes with the build sheet and fender tag. It has a close date coded engine but is not #'s matching. This car is very original and correct from new Legendary Interior, to engine, exhaust, Rally Wheels w/Spare, F70x14 Polyglas tires, full gauges, bench seat and column Shift Automatic. Has new carbs, but have originals.
If your interested give me a ring and I'll put you in touch with the owner.

BTW. the owner also has a Brand new crate 'HEMI" that can be purchased for the car....Holy $#@ a Hemi Superbird !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice car!
Too bad he has to let it go.
I know there were damn few that were Hemi powered. But dropping in a Hemi doesn't instantly make it a Hemi Superbird. Since it wasn't originally leave the factory with a Hemi I believe it may actuall devalue it. A buyer is better off leaving the 440 6-pack in place even if it isn't numbers matching.

Here's one for $50K. Granted, it's tubbed and caged but still a lot less than $1M !
