Hey Trader1,

My friend has an Eagle and it is a nice trailer. The only problem is that it is painted steel. We run in salt/brackish water and it is strarting to rust. It is heavy too.

They are good trailers but may have recently went out of business. Current thread running now in GD.

This could mean parts trouble.

Parts should not be a problem as most are from other mfg like tires, rims, axles, winches. I bet they only make the frame. Keep an eye on the bearings, lift it, spin the tires and pull from side to side, back and forth. This will tell you if there is a major problem, you will want to take them apart to be sure. Otherwise look for crabbing, bent parts or other signs of an accident. Lights, brakes and all should be looked at. It is pretty straight forward. I just rebuilt a trailer and it was a job but worth it, can't have junk under your baby you know.
