Checking X-Dim, looks like around 14 - 14 1/2".
Going to have to plug and raise for more efficiency. |

Updated as of 2026...
The PnD Was with Kent, My dad for years, the water testing was done back in about 2007-2008. That is the year when I Joined the Air Force, I then moved up to Spokane to serve at Fairchild AFB for about 10 years. I drove down and brought the boat up to Washington so I can resurrect it. I found out dad found the limits of hull integrity when he launched it in some rough water and cracked the hull in 3 places, taking on water as he drove back to the dock.. it sat on the trailer for the time being. the dash rotted out, the engine sat in the garage and the whole project went to waste.. Now, the boat is with me, I now run a Snap-on Franchise and have not had a good place to work on it nor the time, but faced with the reality of time ticking away, I need to get this beast back in the water. I Found this old thread and I wanted to revive it, share our story, and and enjoy some more "Smiles Per Gallon" once again!
Stay tuned as I continue this project, none of us are getting any younger! |
This is awesome! Keep it coming!
|

No poly...
Im using all slow cure west systems epoxy, milled fibers for filler, 8lb structure foam, and some blood, haha
|

https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...0bf659701.jpeg Test fitting the control box, the seat fits nice and its comfortable, it shall do. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...152e5ea48.jpeg Picked up an access hatch, cut to fit, I’ll mount it when paint is on. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...bc58c9676.jpeg I used Dad’s existing Coosa as the support, back filled with 8lb foam then structural glass/epoxy, I decided to go with the open storage under the seat on the sides with the center closed off, center is the access to the fuel pickup/ sending unit. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...c32913b84.jpeg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...e6f01da51.jpeg Filling/sealing the gauge cluster Difficult to work on this, and run a buisness at the same time… also, why didn’t anyone tell me this boat stuff is expensive??? |
