Wind Protection
My wife has a real problem with her eyes watering whenever the wind is blowing in her face (like when we are boating - it even happens horseback riding). Sunglasses don't seem to make much difference. I realize this is sort of an odd request however this problem has a very negative impact on our boating experience and I thought perhaps someone might have an idea. Thanks.

Re: Wind Protection
What kind of boat? Windshield or fairing? There are many options out there for wind deflectors, but we need more info. If you don't want a wind deflector on the boat, goggles would work best.

Re: Wind Protection
Ski goggles will work but may look a little funny and leave you with some really round untanned eyes. One thing you should try are some sun glasses from a motorcycle shop. Most Harley or custom bike shops have glasses that are made specifically for this problem. They will serve the same purpose as ski goggles but be less cumbersome.

Go to this post to see our "future" wind protection; our faces were getting "wind burn" because we usually cruise at 70 mph+: glasses don't help.

Re: Wind Protection
I put a simple plexiglass wind deflector on my fairing. I just use regular sunglasses and there is very little wind. No eye watering at speeds up to 100.

Re: Wind Protection
Guard Dog goggles work for me. They are sealed around the eyes and are about the same size as regular sunglasses. I use contact lenses when boating and the Guard Dogs have kept them from drying out and blowing out. It is like night and day from wearing Rx sunglasses ... I can turn my head and not worry about loosing my glasses.
Windscreens are like windshields on a custom Harley ... kinda goofy
