Angry Ebay A$$HOLE!

Well I got to vent! I bought two air cleaners off ebay the other day and when I got them I was a bit disappointed, They were billed as K&N's but are a cheap copy not even close to K&N's Aluminum housing was OK but the element was junk. I put a comment on ebay that the housing was nice but the element was average and shipping was slow 12 days after payment from the west coast???come on I can walk it in 12 days but overall I gave him a satisfactory rating and asked if I could get a taller element. He emails me back thats all they have and tells me I'm a moron!!!PHuck You!! I'm going to tell all the boating people that I can that he's a bastage! and not to do bisiness with him! His handle on ebay is Parts Unlimited and answers the phone TPM machine. If you just treat people with respect your just better off!!!

I've found over the years doing business on ebay, there are just as many morons on there as with any business, they just tend to have lots of free time to annoy you with.

I have sold everything on ebay from motorcycles to home theaters to hundreds of stickers. Just as anywhere there are legit people and there are scammers/bad business people, and just plain morons who want something for nothing. I've found the most important things are to check the person out as best you can, know the specific item you are looking for and its value (retail/market) and also ask specific questions.

I hate to hear stories of people getting ripped on there because there are lots of legit people like myself who work very hard to treat their customers well. You can see my auctions and all by looking up scturboking. My average for the past 3 months has been nearly $4,000 in sales, not much to some, but its a good bit of work for 1 person especially when you consider many of my items are <$10. Its something I play with and the $ is nice for the amount of time it takes, but you get a few annoying people as with anywhere.

dyno,
what size are the elements that you need? I bought 4 K&N 7"x3" elements that I don't need from a liquidator...

seems every time someone gave him a negative rating he had some lame excuse

i guess we can't give feedback without buying something from him bc we could sure sway his feedback rating to what is probably should be
