Do these people fish from sailboats by chance? I realize this guy sounds like a real jackass but some people do make me wonder sometimes. You don't have to blow past people at 70 but the worst thing you can do is drop off plane right as you approach a small boat, nothing sucks worse than those morons in cruisers who come flying up to the beach at about 40 then yank the throttle back right when they pass you.

Throwing someone out of the boat and not stopping on the other hand...sure doesn't make much sense to me. I thought the stereotype was you shoot the guy first then dump him.

I like how "mad dog" is trying to blame it on the new owner of Sanibel Harbor Marina and his Nor-Tech. The witness said the boat was about 35' and had black and white checkered flags painted on it. The boat that "mad dog" is talking about is 50' and painted solid blue down the sides with nothing close to checkered flags on it!
Yep, sounds like a match to me.

Wow...what a bad situation.
I can't believe an occupant got tossed and the driver kept going.

I can't believe somebody could operate their boat like that. He should be locked up. That description matches a lot of boats around here. I just hate to have all of these guys pissed at us because of one moron.

Sounds like a Fountain to me.
Just guessing, but as a Cig. owner I would notice a 35' w/checkerboards and I don't recall any.

And Terry, they all sound like they are 70ish, maybe their eyesight prevents any differences'(50' Nor-tech/35' Fountain) from being noticed.

I signed up on that forum and added a post so they don't hate all of us.
Let's see checkered flags, hmmmm...I'm pretty sure the boat is either an Active Thunder, Baja, Checkmate (looks bigger on the water), Donzi, Fountain, Sonic, Velocity or Wellcraft. I think.
