My local Mobil station this morning, reg @1.95, everything else was 2.00+.

Even though the oil prices may fall, it'll be late summer before we see any relief. It's funny, OPEC raises the price today, gas prices raise tomorrow, but it when oil price falls it takes 6 months for gas price to drop.

Rising problem at the pumps, people are filling up and driving away without paying. Local news showed security cam pics of several motorists doing just that.

The US hasn't built a refinery in 30 years. 25% of the gas, not oil, in the Northeast is imported. Don't expect gas prices to drop anytime soon.

Velocity,

I filled up at Navesink this weekend. It was $2.40 for 93 octane. Not bad considering the Exxon in LIttle Silver is charging 2.20 for Super. I am sure Schups is charging over $2.40 for 89.

Hope it stays that way, what are they charging for 89?

Maybe, just maybe I'll pull the cover this weekend. My son has been driving me crazy to get the cover off. On the bright side, I'll be moving a certain 353 Fastec on Friday afternoon, maybe I'll have to burn all the old gas for him.
