We have one stretch on the Intracoastal going from Sarasota south that takes about 25 maybe 30 minutes to get through. They are trying to get from the north Siesta Bridge all the way to Venice a no wake zone. That would be about a two hour trip, or longer. And a considerable amount of this "proposal" is in the bay where it's a mile, sometimes two miles, wide. Maybe EVERYBODY one some certain day will just en mass blast through every speed zone out there in protest. Down here on a good day, that cold be 1500 boaters or more. They couldn't get all of us.

I have one that is 15min, then the one in Grand Haven which is over an hour and one in Saugatuck that is 45min. I trade the two long ones every other weekend. The GH one is a b itch but the scenery is good so it is not so bad. These are watched like a hawk, GH is not so bad and with 1:36 Bravo 1s I am cruising at idle. I have to either shut one down or drop the tabs to slow a little and keep the wake down. My speed is 6ph at idle (800rpm) I like to keep it at 1000rpm due to the Merc/Gill exhaust and water reversion and then I am making a good wake and about 8mph. I hope they leave me alone.

Yeah, there's a couple of spots in the mangroves that the ticket writers like to hang out. Every law boat that runs will be out over Memorial day, everywhere I would imagine.

Everyone be safe. Been a tough start to the season already.............................

We are heading to LOTO and unless a meteor, a jet Engine or a piece of the space station falls to Earth an lands on me we will come back exactly the way we left, the only difference will be the hours and mileage. Right Mike :)

Edgewater Florida to the Atlantic is 45 minutes without getting a ticket.

In case this enthralls you they are building a marina with indoor storage and condo complex next to Boston Whaler... :blaster:
