Longest 'No Wake / Headway Speed' Zone . . .

Who is dealing ( on a relatively daily basis ) with the longest 'No Wake / Headway Speed' zone ?

Every time I take my boat out, I have approx 20 minutes of 5 mph. The benefit is that I have the entire Pacific Ocean to play in once I get there.

There must be worse. . . or is there ?

Is that how long it takes to get out from Lido... that is where my old boat is now... Lido boatyard... I think the guy renamed it "double blown".

Not less than 40 unless you feel lucky

What kind of boat is it?

Honest to God, Newport should have a 'Diamond Lane', buoyed-off down the center for boats that just want to get 'outside'. Maybe 10-15 mph ( except the ferry crossing ).

Ban the kayakers, sailboats, windsurfers, etc.

They should make a cut through the peninsula.

At least it is a sceneic(sp) cruise ... nice yachts, homes, hills, ferry, ferriswheel .... it could be worse

Going out tomorrow morning around 9:30

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 04:42 AM.
