I live about 1hr from there on Lake Erie .There not the only marina that got washed away. The dam rain just does not seem to stop. We have had rain for the last 3 days and nights. :eureka: I think it must be time to build that arch like Noah had. Does anyone have pic.? :D

I used to dock down there years ago and it was not uncommon for that exact area to flood in the spring. Sooooo with that said :) Mothers day we were driving around and decided to cruise through there. The first thing I saw was a nice new marina and building (used to be a small building that flooded every spring) the first thing I said was wow can't believe they would build something that nice down here with all the flooding they have

I just can't understand why someone thought that would be a good idea

hey i just boat a house with a dock down there!! glad the deal hasnt closed yet

it wasnt so much a flood as it was the speed of the river... it was flowing at nine knots!!!

whoooo hoooo.. some damage... time to fire up the grinder and dispose of some fiberglass.... Out here in the west we've been having a drought.. so all of the reservoirs are down... Lake Powell is down over 80 feet... scary....

The rain is getting old, there's still roads closed around here (detroit) due to flooding plus i was out on the detroit river this weekend and there's tons of debris floating around which could make for a bad day if your not paying attention. On the positive side the lake erie water level is way up which should make for a good boating season.:)
