Where do you put your fenders
 

We always put our fenders behind drivers seat tied to the back .
I hate the way it takes up room there .Looking for ideas for mounts that will look good and help store .I dont want them in the cabin where we will trip over them all the time. Engine compartment is tight also .does enyone have them on there swim platform If so can you show pictures.We have a Sonic 358

As you can tell from pics... most of the guys in SCOPE just leave them tied to the cleats for convenience. :D :D :D

Seriously, when I had my 26' Sonic, I had room for two good sized fenders under the back seat, and kept 4 smaller ones under the v-berth. How often do you use your head? Just stash them in there.

Road i'm with sydwayz. Bigger ones under the back seat, and have a few smaller ones in a bin in the engine compartment. But i only have one engine so
for me its easy.:)

Under the back seat. We don't leave them tied to anything...I just run around like a mad man when we go to dock. But it looks good. ;)

Yes, I leave them tied to the cleats. Very handy.

Well, at LOTO we dock and raft up a LOT. So I usually keep them handy, tied to the handles behind the front seat. If it's crowded in the boat, I put them in the cabin. It has a rail/shelf running around the cabin that you can "wedge" 8" bumpers into so they don't fly around.

I just make sure everybody else knows where everything is so they can run around and get the fenders and the ropes :D

I use them as life preservers. I just hang them around the neck of my friends.

I have a 358, and keep (4) large fenders in the side compartments, (2) on each side.
I removed the front door latch on the plexiglas doors, so the rear door opens up enough for the fenders to fit.
I also have all dock lines, shore power cords, and spare engine oil, and drive oil in those compartments.
I store the anchor in the compartment next to the head. I had "top knot" make me an anchor bag that holds the anchor and anchor line, really nice set up.
I also have a (4) amp rack, life jackets, etc. stored in the same compartment.

Where do we put our fenders?
Usually between our boat and the docks, they also work great between boats when rafting.

I don't know where you should put your fenders, but I do know that you should never leave a question like that dangling out there. It reminds me of the story of how the angel got on top of the Xmas tree.

fenders?? what are fenders? thats what you have a "rub" rail for :D

o yeah, when u "rub" the dock at about 10mph, make sure to yell "we're there" so the passengers know to get off

i put mine in the head, there is no dumping on my rig, so great place to keep all the eye sores...audio what do you need fneders for you rig never comes off the trailer...

I put three fenders in port side one in starb side and it cleaned us up great
I also took off one handle in bathroom ,and I am going to take one off in galley
over sink.

I could not find a good place on my Tiger so I made some out of Alum. and the Pwd. coated candy blue, they do drain, but the hole is not to big to let the ropes go through.

JC, Very nice!!

I keep the fenders under the rear seat on the AT, on the pontoon........we don't need no stinkin' fenders!! If you want to tie up to the 'Toon bring your own!!! :D
