Doug, Nick had the Formula ready by noon the next day, and Ray got my Donzi done yesterday. Here I was going into the weekend boatless I thought, now they are all ready. Cleaning up the Minx right now to take it out for a test run today.

It's Warranty, sounds and feels like lower unit wont know till Ronnie Piper pulls it. O'h well I was takin it to him for a tune-up and all filters and belts changed along with new drive oil, so I guess we can do it all at one time now. Actually the drive oil in that unit will be free because of the warranty repair, oooooooohhhhhhh. Last time the same motor broke a drive shaft, this time the prop on the unit wont turn without alot of help, so I thinking this might be a related problem from the drive shaft failure.

Frank, did any pontoon boats pass you on the way back home? When I blew a drive at last years SOS race I had to limp back to the Hyatt on one motor. Got passed by a pontoon boat. I have scars from the humiliation. Told the wife if a blowbote passed us I was going to shoot myself. She said I couldn't because she wasn't confident in docking the boat. Took us almost 2 and a half hours to get back. Sucked.
