That's a spittin' image of my 26' Corsa Martini. Even the windshield is the same. Seller might be using the term "Cigarette" generically for marketing reasons.

I paid less than that for mine in good running condition. If the trailer is included, the price seems OK.

Cigarette did make a 27" model around that time period if I'm not mistaken.
if memory serves me right it actually may have been a Squadron 12 production number and then sold through and re-badged as a Cig. At any rate it's an Aronow Boat.
I've seen two in my life and they are very sweet.
Sit Down boat and they have a large heavy lifting eye in the middle of the Deck.

It's gotta be a Corsa, or a copy (unless Corsa copied someone else). If the hull ID starts with "MPB", it's a Corsa.

Here's a pic of mine. Deck cleats, railings & hatches are all in the same location...

I don't think the Cig 28's have the same rear hull (circled in red). It looks alot like Oceans pic.

BTW.....Damn nice looking boat, Ocean.:)

Thanks. I kinda think of it as a classic car. When I pull up to the bars or gas docks, there's always someone who says "what's that?". It seems everyone is used to more modern boats with wild paint schemes and disco graphics, so when they see something like this it's a change from the norm.

Now if I could only get it to run as fast as it looks...next year a 502 & a Konrad drive.

P.S. - That "Beer *****" on your website looks awfully similar. I wonder if the Corsa spies were peeking over the fence at Cigs when they designed the Martini...both were children of Thunderboat Row...

Hey danny, still watching this thread?? I saw a 26 martini for sale with a #6 drive and I believe 900hp - 110mph boat, check it out. Can't remember if it was on oso or traderonline......

Dayum!!! I was thinking about bumping up my HP to 500. That would be plenty for such a lightweight boat. There is no way I would want to see 110mph in my boat. Anything bigger than 1' ~ 2' and your kidneys are crying for mamma.

I'm gonna look for that ad.

this boat has been for sale for a long time...I spoke with the owner months ago and he told me the boat was manufactured by Cigarette for another company. I cannot remember the other company but it may have been Mirage. Didn't sound correct t me. He also told me the boat sunk due to a drive problem (as I recall) and that he had the boat raised, dried and the engines repaired. Looks nice, but it is definitely not a Cigarette. I think he wante around $20k at the time if I remember correctly.

The first three letters of the Hull ID/VIN will tell all. Did the owner mention any #'s?
