For anyone considering ST perhaps you should first read what their business practices are REALLY like.

Check out these two good articles that Power and Motoryacht magazine chose to run about how ST raped one boater for $ 30,000 for an hours work by calling a tow a very questionable "salvage". Yes you read that right - ONE hours work for $ 30,000 !!!

This is not an isolated incident or a bad apple with ST, its their company policy. They are compensated differently than Boat U.S. with a bias towards trying to make any tow into a salvage whenever they can. If you still think ST won't do it to you, then at least you've been warned.

No I do NOT work for Boat U.S. or any other towing company. As a long time lurker here sorry this is my first post, I'm just totally fed up with these modern day pirates ripping off us boaters.
