Looking for reputable repair service in Central Florida
I'm the new owner of a 28' Active Thunder (Jafo's boat) & need to get a new fuel pump & starter and just have a general check done on the motors.
I'm up in Ocala, but am willing to drive to someone that does a good job; most of the boats in my area run outboards & I've had bad experiences with several of the mechanics in the area (drunk on job, miswiring, etc.). This is a great boat & I don't want to take any chances with it.

My race Partner Al at Addictive Motorsports is good and fair. He is mercruiser certified and located in North Tampa Just off I4. 1-813-247-3049.

Addictive motorsports or look up innovation marine in sarasota...
I have dealt with innovation marine personally on a few things, 1st class operation they have.

Also try Nick Bues at Performance plus marine in Clearwater Fla. 813.417.6242, Only works on High Performance, Really good....

Give Advanced Marine a try... Talk to James, Great guy and does excellent work. They are in St. Cloud 407-498-5142

This is a little late, and further away, but, Todd Garthwait of Coastal Marine here in Nokomis (just south of Sarasota) does a real good job, is a certified Premium or whatever Merc service center. He's done all the work on my boat, been more than satisified with the results, and he gives all OPBA members a 15% across the board discount. I would highly recommend him.
It's nice to know there are many service sites to choose from in our general area with personal recommendations from members of our board who can vouch for them.
