Need Trailer Manufacturer names Please !
 

A friend approached me with a question. He has an older 21 foot checkmate for which he would like to purchase a new trailer, tandem with brakes. He was looking at Eagle trailers, but has been informed that they may have now gone out of business. Can anyone suggest a trailer co. with a dealer around here in the Northeast, that can fit him with a new trailer for his boat ? Thanks for any input.!

I need a part for my trailer, anybody know who Motion used ? It starts with the letters AQ.

MYCO might be a bit much for a 21 footer... they build the best, but I think there are others out there that can build a nice one for that size boat for much less. Performace trailers, or even load rite would work for that size boat.

For custom painted,welded steel trailers,you can't beat Prestige.618-542-8039,ask for Phyliss. They have Checkmate patterns,quality equal or better than Eagle,and better priced. Bear trailer for my 31 footer was relatively cheap, less than $4,200 couple years ago. aluminum, tri-axel, 2 with brakes. If your friend is in fresh water use and not going cross country, its a good way to save some dough.

Performance Custom Trailers is in lake george area. Bill has built four trailers for me over the years.I would put his trailers in the same class as Myco.Bill is also a great guy to deal with.The number is 518-668-3103.You wont be dissapointed........

Just don't buy a Pacific Trailer built here in Southern Cali. They are the worst--and their customer service sucks big time.
