Default Tampa Skeg repairs

AnyOne know where in Tampa can I get my skegs replaced. Only missing half of a half dollar in size and a few chips, but they are bent and not straight.

Thanks,

Mitch

Hey Mitch,
I guess you've prolly heard of Skeggard, but if you have not, they're an option. Not sure what everyones opinion of this product is?

Also welding on a new piece is an option. Mine (one side) was pretty bad when I purchased the boat and a friend did not want to attempt welding cuz it might warp the casing and take chance of ruining the seals?? I took his advice and it's still not fixed

As far as where in Tampa? I cannot offer help .. I'm from Joisey

My skeg was missing a nice chunk. I installed the SkegGard and "presto". A shiny new skeg. According to the instructions, you must have at least 3" of old skeg remaining to allow sufficient attachment. Very well worth $99.00.
