He was the start of the Hollywood era. Look how many actors or celebrities cave come after him. He was a great man and certainly made a name for himself. I still remember exactly where I was when he was shot. I was 13. 93 is one hell of a run though, he lived a full life, he left in good name, what more can a politician ask for. RIP.

Ronald Reagan was a good man, although I was looking in from a foreign country and only about 16 when he was elected I was grateful that America had ousted the wishy washy no real agenda Carter/Ford era. I too remember where I was when he was shot and remember thinking "Oh NO! now theres going to be an election and Carter might get back in .....but the Gipper pulled through......doug

Many years from now when history judges the past century I believe he may rank #1. Can you imagine a world if world war three started? Nuclear Holicaust, millions dead, enviromental degredation............Deficet would be a good word.
