Say goodbye to the vinyl graphics. We have decided to remove them and run the boat plain white with only the Apache logo on the side. If we can work out a design that we like and if we can swing the cost, we are planning a paint job after the summer.

Here is the dash. The gages are removed in preparation of installing a GPS/plotter in the middle of the dash.
The big holes on the top on both sides each held a Ritchie compass. We are replacing the old ones with new ones that will work properly and look better. The old ones were foggy and were rusting badly.
The speedo in the top center of the dash is also coming out and being replaced with a GPS speedo. The current speedo is badly faded and lacking fluid in the gage itself. This will also allow us to remove the speedo's pitot tube from the back of the boat.

i loved that boat when it was all white. i kick myself in the behind for not buying that boat last year, i drove up to Lake Worth last year when we were at the boat show and looked it over, mouse terds and all. After we got back to St louis i was getting some prices together on some of the things i wanted to do to it, and getting ready to make an offer and try to buy the boat when we had a house fire, and that pretty much took precedent. Your one lucky guy.

So far so good. Tres and his crew are moving right along on this thing. They still have quite a few odds and ends to take care of, but they are not wasting any time and seem to be getting this stuff done very quickly. We should be ready for sea trial very soon. Then we can let Tres work his magic and get this thing dialed in. I'll keep you all posted.
