No way. I don't feel comfortable doing that yet. First I need to learn how the engine works and the motion. I need to get a feel for the water while controlling the boat.

Wasabe pick up a copy of Chapman's Piloting at West Marine. It will tell you a lot of info on navigation, and good seamanship. Lots of good stuff in there.If you are really looking at getting a license it is a very good source for information.
