I have Absorber now. Works great but the blade looks good and then absorber to complete. I'll try Auto Z too. Tnks.

Wow looks like a lot of us had the same ideas.
I use the Blade and follow with a towel. FYI for the northeast guys. I have been finding white bath towels at Meijer for $1.00 a piece and 5 wash cloths in a bundle for $1.00 (they make nice quick clean rags.) I bought 30 towels and never have to dig around for an old T-shirt it's awesome having a never ending supply of soft towels :D |

It is a fiberglass bottle (looks like a welding tank) and it is good for 1500 gallons. You hook a hose to the bottle going in and another coming out, simple. I pay $35.00 a month and $90.00 when it needs to be changed out. They come to my house and exchange the bottle for me. It has a light on top of the bottle that tells you when it needs to be changed. I tryed the Mr. Clean product but the deionizer puts out much more water, and for a 38' boat it is much faster. The deionizer works so well I am suprised more people don't use them. I can wash my entire boat, including the motors and bilge, in about an hour with no spots at all. under which catagory in the yellow pages? Do you have a manufacturer's name? |

I think I found it under water purification or something like that. If you can't find it there I would go to your local car lot or call a detailing service and see who they use. If you ever see a mobile detailer they usually have the bottles in the back of their trucks. I actually came up with the idea after I watched one used on my boat after it was worked on at a boat lot.
The bottle does not have a brand name on it. I have seen them for sale in the $1500. range, but then you have to find a place who can service it. I think it is much better to rent. As far as drying time, it does not dry any faster than regular water would, just spot free. At home I just stick it in the garage wet and the next day it is dry with no spots. In Havasu it dries much quicker because of the heat, but I have also driven it around the block to air dry it before I put the cover on. A leaf blower would probably work well also. |

I use the blade and a real chamois. This is a good subject! For me it is a never ending process :( :( I have too much freaking paint! I think the next boat will be a fairly simple white. :D Those feathers on the bow get a little warm :eek:
