HELP..Need a gearcase for Promax 300..
 

HELP..Need a gearcase for 98' Promax 300.. Looking to my OSO brothers for help. Blew the gear case on my Counter Rotating 300 Promax. Cracked the case so rebuilding it is not possible. Don't want to spend $4800 on a new one. Does anyone know who may have this gearcase. It's a fleetmaster, counter, 1.75 gears, splitshaft used or rebuilt...

I have spoken to Colabella so far and he does not have one...

Try noah @ www.eagleoneperformance.com tell him the pain in the ass from toledo sent you.. also yry the buy sell forums on www.screamandfly.com there is a guy I am getting my LH lower from later today and I will see if he has one as well Scott 419-509-1882

Colabella was my choice.....Im having a new one put on now Ahhhhhh warranties. After the 4 of July though Im on my own!!!!!

What does Mercury do with the ones that are returned for warranty replacement..I've sent 2 back now...

Ummmmm Speed when the boat is in the air pull back a tad on th throttles...should solve the problem

You can extend you warrantees for an additional year with you set up

For whatever reason,Jays gona ck with Colabella It keeps blowing the shift shaft seal. This allows sea water into the gear box and then you know whats next. No one can tell me why. Two months ago it was the port engine, 2 weeks ago now its the starboard. ANY SUGGESTIONS? Trust me I dont run this boat hard in big water, and I know these sportmasters can handle what I've been dealing them.

Thanks Pakinair.. I did reference you as the pain in the ass from Toledo and he knew right away !! :D Noah gave me a killer price on a new gear case I just have to see what my warranty co is going to do. They are giving me a hard time. The phuking extended warranties are worthless!

i agree. . .Noah is the guy. i think he was even giving Pack a volume discount for a while there.:D :D
