I was wondering if there is anything going on at Shooters 21. Last time I heard somebody was buying the place and all the crappy docks were for sale or something like that. That place definitely needs to be cleaned up. I will be down for the Shootout in Aug. and I was hoping to hear some positive news about the place.

we were at the lake the weekend before Memorial day, and they were in the process of installing all new docks. It looked like they had about 3/4 of them in.
There was not a soul around, but that was Sunday and Monday, so I didn't really expect anyone to be there.
It did look like to me that the docks were pretty high off the water, if something isn't done about that, make sure to bring LOTS of fenders.

I was just there over Memorial Day and the place was packed Saturday night(which is, I believe, the night Shooters is most busy). The docks looked great. We tied up in the center section and walked around most of the others. Like I said it looked fine with the new docks. In fact, I thought it was quite an improvement from last year. Hope that helps...

Sale fell through. Owners put new docks in anyway. Nice BUT......
Instead of putting in cleats that get pulled out, they put 2' high poles every 10' along the slips to tie to.
They're the perfect height to rip off a rub rail on a sport boat or poke a hole in the side of a cruiser when the rollers come in there.
Inside's pretty much the same as last year.

So at least they replaced the docks !!! I still have to get my gelcoat repaired from the metal gouges from last year. Too bad somebody doesn't do something with that place. It could be a gold mine if run properly.
