boat lift bunk padding ...
 
Rebuilding Lift for 311SR and looking for suggestions for alternative padding for bunks ....was told a material called "Fluff Foam" used in sailboat Sails werks good but havent been able to find any info on it. Maybe even rubber material ...thanks Mike

If the bunk aren't cut square do that first and locate them under the lifting strakes. Then just go to Home depot and get some indoor out door carpet, they make something that almost looks like a heavy felt that works best. Why pad it? It will only absorb water, will remain wet for a very long time after each use and stain the bottom of your boat.

that is why I am searching for this fluff foam ....I was told it absorbs no water
