Stereo Question
My stereo wiring came loose after a beating on the lake.
When you hook it up, it says TELEPHONE across the screen and I cant get it to do anything else, and dont have an owners manual. Anyone ever heard of this? Im not an expert on stereos obviously. |
Re: Stereo Question
probably a mute mode for answering a phone call..should be a way to get it off, have you checked around the net. for an owners manual online? Some manufacturers have that kind of thing.

Re: Stereo Question
I'd say your flux capacitor is out of whack. Not making enough jigawatts. You need at least 1.21 jigawatts to properly run a boat stereo. If you're not getting that many, find yourself a nuclear garbage converter. They work awswome. You might even find youself back in the future if you can get your boat to 88 mph. Then you would have a brand new boat!!

Re: Stereo Question
Remove the unit from the DIN, disconnect the ground and remove the integrated fuse. This isolates the unit in it's entirety. Reconnect the ground lead first, insert the fuse (make sure it is good) and then re-attach the DIN plug. Slide unit back into flush mount housing and turn it on. If this does not work you have a perfectly good trolling weight.
There may also be a small reset button the size of a pinhead on the front of the unit or behind the removeable faceplate. Find it push it in, it may kick the unit back into a useable state. Otherwise it's just gonna be a combination of push buttons or it's just toast. Good Luck |
Re: Stereo Question
Thanks! I'll give that a try!
