What are the odds on Reggie backing out at the last minute?

I'd put $100 on that one.

Boat troubles, engine problems, transport issues, worldwide VO5 shortage, you name it, I'm betting he won't run beside an OL.

Having said that, I hope I am wrong.

I also hope everyone lives through their ego trips.

The boat is one of David Wood's boats with big Sterlings (1400+, if I remember correctly). The drives are mounted so high that it requires intake scoops 18" high to clear the blowers. It's intended for a kilo run in the near future. (I spent last weekend with the guy who rigged it. We did not discuss the boat's potential speed, but had a hilarious conversation about how egos keep riggers in business.)

Yeah - the guy who rigged the boat has a few years experience

I wish there were more guys like him around!

I think the Rio Roses boat should be there. Afterall, it is the boat holding the record of ..... ???

Sorry, I don't remember what SBI class it holds the speed record in, and the rules it had to adhere to...

But anyway, it would be nice to see Rich's boat come up and join in on the fun and show us all that it can do it again.

Come on Mike, twist his arm a little....

He just may take a liking to Poker Runs
