Who has procharged 496's ?
A friend is thinking about doing that . What do you think about the package ? How does it effect the warrenty on a brand new motor ? IS this a good way to go ,or is there something else that he would be happier with ? Where is the best place to buy them ?
Also ,It would be a VERY mild set up . Thanks !

That would be good if they went to forged parts, then those 496's would really be bullet proof. Nice little motor though!
Before I got the 525sc I wanted to put a blower on my old merc 454L, the carbed 454 w/cast parts. My mechanic couldn't stop me fast enough! Thank god he did though cause that motors been good for Audiofn

With 3 psi you would be up to 500 HP and that probably would be easy on the engines with 6 psi I believe you can get up to 650 HP. With 12 psi probably 1000 HP. So what if it's "just a short run"
