One of the best places!! A few good rest. right on the water, free docking. You can go south and see West Pt., or go north for beautiful scenery. Bring the boat!!

Yep it will be worth the trip with the boat. The debris has been very lite this year too. Not sure why we have been getting some hellascious storms...actually today has been brutal.

Let us know when you are comming over and one of us will show you around.

Stayed overnight in Kingston last year with the family. Town docks are right next to the street. stayted at a B&B called the "Miss Gussie Bug" which was decent.

Surprisingly,,, the Hudson is and has been very clean this year,, was out last night, even the water quality is better,,, you can actually SEE your drive while sitting, thats a HUGE improvement from previous years.

Currents are strong, I would not recomend jumping of an anchored boat unless you are very good swimmer...seen it first hand
Water levels are not a problem in the river 75-150+ft deep. At the marina's the tide raises and drops pretty dramaticly 4'+ so at low tide you need to be careful. Gully's is where I think you would launch because of its location and that area is pretty good water wise.
