Well,
I've kept comments to myself on this one....but Mr. Merola...where do you get your infomation? Futhermore, who are you to question DJD, and my boat? Despite the minor damage caused in the NJ race, we still managed to lap every Fountain in the field, and win the race. (I might add, that in a dead flat calm race, (boring) this would not be the case). To a point, the structural integrity of the boat remained intact, despite the prevailing conditions that day. Two weeks later the boat was competing in Key West.
Having been the very proud owner of 3 Outerlimits, one being an F2 raceboat, I have to say that the overall innovative quality and workmanship of the OL's has continued to impress me. I had the pleasure of riding with Pete Mazzo on his new 39'. All I can say is: Mike, build me one with a canopy for SVL! DJD are you ready?! Hey Scott, are you ready to get back in???

As usual this whole thing has got out of hand and you guys have forgotten the purpose of this board. It doesn't matter rather you are democrats or republicans, French or Americans, Buckeyes or Wolverines, Outer Limits or Reggie fans. What matters here is the purpose of the this board, OSO and poker runs are as follows:
1. Comradarie.
2. Make new friends
3. Show off your stuff
4. Share information
5. Enjoy the sport
6. Have a great time.
7. See new places and faces.
It doesn't matter what you show up in at a poker run. The fastest boat, $$$$ invested, fanciest paint job etc does not increase your probability of having the best hand.
To put somebody down becasue they do not have whatever agrees with you is not what humanity is all about. Some folks can afford a lot more than they have but chose not too. That is their perogative. Attending a poker run is like going to a car show. It is a great opportunity to see what is out there, admire and learn.
We live in the greatest country in the world. Most of us have one thing in common and a great advantage over most. We are all Americans. All of us have another thing in common that we are boaters on OSO.
Two strong foundatons for getting along.

u know i am still laughing as i just thought of the idiot that wrote the letter( trash talk letter) that someone posted about a week ago but i found his stamnt funnyt: the mutual admiration clubs.. i love our club.. i can truly say its awsome to look at the big power beasts.. but i wish people would quit comparing..
