A Day of Fun & Excitement For Special Athletes From The Special Olympics
Date: Saturday July 17, 2004
Rain Date: Sunday July 18, 2004

We are pleased to announce that the date of the event will be July 17, 2004. At this time we look forward to entertaining 400 handicapped (special athletes from the special Olympics and their families with race boat displays & rides, car show displays, face painting, music, entertainment, gifts and a barbecue.

We provide each participant with a “goody bag” loaded with promotional items from various organizations (pens, mugs, key chains, t-shirts, etc.) Perhaps you could support this event with some type of donation. Remember – no donation is too small!

IT’S PEOPLE AND ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS YOURS WHO ENABLE US TO MAKE THIS A VERY SPECIAL DAY FOR SOME VERY SPECIAL PEOPLE!

I helped promote this event a few years back when I was doing morning radio. I still remember the smiles on the kid's faces when they got their boat rides!

Well Shore Dreams Had A Big Rally Last Weekend At The Atlantic City Poker Run We Raised Like $3200.00 At Our Dinner Through 50/50 And Donationds Thanks All.

Hello everyone,

We have been pounding the pavement for donations to produce this event for a while now. We are happy to report that we have achieved our financial goal!

But now comes the even tougher part - WE NEED PEOPLE TO VOLUNTEER THEIR TIME AND THEIR BOATS TO TAKE SOME VERY SPECIAL PEOPLE FOR BOAT RIDES THAT DAY!

Date: Saturday July 17th
Location: Seaside Municipal Pier, Seaside Heights NJ
(near the Rt.37 Bridge)
Time: 10am - 3pm

So, you think you would like to volunteer, but you have alot of questions?:

Q. I can volunteer but I can't stay for the whole day?
A. Not a problem, if you can come and stay for only a few hours that is OK! We will be greatful for anytime you can contribute.

Q. I will be the only one on my boat and I am not sure if I can handle the kids by myself?
A. Not a problem! There will be plenty of staff to help load and unload the kids on the boats. Also, every group of kids will have either a parent or a chaparone with them.

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO VOLUNTEER YOUR BOAT AND YOUR TIME!
IT WILL BE ONE OF THE MOST REWARDING DAYS THAT YOU WILL REMEMBER!
