It was a great episode.
I would love to see some type of great boat build off or American offshore series show.
I'm sure production times would be to long and prices would be to high but it would be an awesome show.

Eddie was saying he loved Ft ZLauderdale in the 70's and 80's. I think he said he had worn tired of the Single lifestyle.

If it was IRS problems, how come he said it was "getting a ticket for having too much fun". Just joking, I liked that guy. I bet he was fun to run with in his prime!

I've known Eddie for years. He built part of my last Showbike. He's as laid back as you can get now. I don't think that was true back in his "heyday". Great guy, and always great stories.

I agree he seemed like a cool guy, very laid back and talented. I was just commenting about what most people back then thought about the high performance boat industry and racing. In the " Blue Thunder " book the writer commented that at most of the races.. 50% of the people were racers and crews the other 50 % were DEA and IRS agents undercover !!!

What ever he did or didn't do . The guy is making a honest living doing what he enjoys. I would love to do what he is doing. Making beautiful bikes for people who appreciate that level of craftmenship. I think every builder that Discovery has profiled so far is building these bikes because thay are passionate about there craft. All of these guys would be building bikes even If it wasn't so popular.
