Default Ware can you proformance boat in south carolina??

I live in M.I. and it's awsome for boating, lots of loud powerboats. My better half has family in conway s.c. , and is always trying to get me to move. We have gone every year, but I have never seen one proformance boat. Thats enough for me not to move LOL, even though the weather is awsome. Is there any in land lakes close the conway. Also are down south in-land lake swimable?? I looked at anderson sc looks nice but still far away. Also thought about gitting a job at fountain in Washington N.C...

Conway is about 10 minutes from me. Here we have the Intercoastal waterway, waccamaw river, and the ocean. As far as boats, I have been seeing a few more lately. There is not a real large group in this immediate area but the numbers are growing. Tons and tons of CC fishing boats and such. There is a fountain dealer in Little River but not too many other performance dealers in town. The #'s of new high-end homes are exploding along the waterway here though and more high end boats will be coming too.

Washington, NC is probably one of the quietest towns you'll ever see, save the boat testing at the factory. Theres nothing there besides fountain. My parents are moving to that area, (morehead city) which is down on the coast. I have spent a lot of time there, quiet area but very very nice and lots of water.

The weather here is definately much much better than MI for boating though.

If you have any questions about it down here, don't be afraid to ask. Anderson is about 4.5 hours from the coast.

You can check out Lake Murray. It is outside of Columbia, SC and there are a good many performance boats there. It is 50,000 acres and there are some great marinas and bars to hang out at.

How about the Atlantic? OSO stands for offshore.

Sea Ya....Every once in a while we used to have a guy who would come screaming past us in a 40+ ft baja. We would be out on the parasail boat cruising at a nice 15 knots with passengers and he would come by at 70+. The atlantic is definately the place to go down here. Its a shame I don't see more performance boats out there this time of year.

The entire Atlantric ocean is at your disposal. He specifically requested inland lakes so that's what I responded with. If you want to run in the Atlantic you have choices from Beaufort to little river.
