Outdrives/Engines etc.

I would like to know about experiences you have had with different drive and engine combos. What you have had, how the combo performed etc. What the max HP is for a given drive. I also would like to know more about transmissions and what drives need them and what they basically do. Why don't Bravo's need transmissions? Gearlube used. Everything from a V-6 with Alpha's to a Sterling with # 6's. Alignment adjustments. Need for lubrication etc.

My experience is limited to 350 Magnum's with counter rotating Alpha drives and a 454 Magnum with a Bravo drive. I never had any problems just routinely changed the gear lube with Merc HP. Would like to know more about real world experiences and broaden my information about them.

Experience?
Screw the topcap of the left turning Bravo down and don't run your blower engine lean. That's the last 10 days want me to go on? :D:D:D

I guess there is not a whole lot of excitement revolving around outdrives.
