"Naked Feet Only"
Even better when you don't need the sticker  :blaster: :) :D :eureka: |
Re: Best boat shoes ? ? ?
Rockports with the foam arh suport and the padded tongue. Rather expensive but the next best thing to bare feet.

Been wearing Sebagos for years. Still handsewn in the USA,I believe. Sperry may be too,I don't know, but always had good luck with Sebago.

Sperrys are always great but Rockport has a new "Sperry" design that is worth a look. Here is a pic.

Re: Best boat shoes ? ? ?
I've had both Rockport and Sperrys. The Rockports are more comfortable.
Plus, what does the Sperrys have on the side of them???? ;) |

Had/have Sperry's, Rockport, and Sebago. The Sebago's were the best crafted and most comfortable, though maybe not the best looking.

www.crocs.com
This are GREAT, they are very comfortable, light, they do not smell , they do not stay wet, and they float. |
Re: Best boat shoes ? ? ?
Sperry's are good you just have to watch the little eyelets on the side of the shoe. They can get bent and rip vinly!! :( :(

Lounge lizards.
Same style as Sperry's but constructed of lizard hides. I have a pair that are about 16 years old but look brand new. Bought them on Los Olos Blvd. in Ft. Lauderdale. |
Re: Best boat shoes ? ? ?
Thanks for the input . . . I decided to re-up with the Sperrys . . .

Re: Best boat shoes ? ? ?
Try the Sperry tennis shoe style.Made by New Balance.

Re: Best boat shoes ? ? ?
Sperry's. Original Topsider with the extra arch support. I got probably 6 pair scattered around in different stages of decomposition. I like the white (ice) ones best, not the brown ones.
I also got some BITE sandals that are killer. Not the same ones that sydwayz showed. Mine have a nonslip instead of a knobby tread. They're great for jetskis, etc, or washing the boat and stuff. They have a toe gard and drain channels in them. I looked in the website that sydwayz showed and don't see mine. I got them from an editors recommendation blurb in Boating magazine - I agree, they are the shiznit. |
Re: Best boat shoes ? ? ?
The sad thing is - my old ones ( like 10 years ) really had nothing wrong with 'em. My wife said they were just too ratty-looking to wear to anyplace nice.
I personally thought they looked JUST FINE, but what do I know ? |
Re: Best boat shoes ? ? ?
Nice GL. Nice.
Ya prick. :D :D :D I first came across the Bite sandals in the SkyMall catalog. http://www.skymall.com/webapp/skysto...w&vid=13710363 I picked them up directly at http://www.biteshoes.com though; and have been happy ever since. I have since sold at least two pairs for them as well. |
