Re: Active Thunder Flips in LIS
Christian, You were close enough to see that it was an Active Thunder, What were the markings on the boat. Colors, names etc. There are not that many AT's out there. If you were close enough to know it was an AT you were close enough to know the above questions. Not trying to be an AH, just very direct, very curious and very concerned

You know guys as much as I agree with all of you about our need for caution and being responsible boaters I think our first concern should be for the people involved.
I for one am praying for the people and will save my thoughts on how they got in this position for later.

Hey...
2 brothers who bought a marina near here scored the boat at auction, from what I gather. Very nice value, very nice boat. Graphics are a purplish stripe with an orangish splash on the stern and bow (yes, I'm color-blined, so be patient!). I've only seen the boat once, up close, and I don't remember seeing a name. It's the first year the boat's been around here, and you can count the number of performance boats on your toes, so a boat that nice really stands out. Trust me, if it's not the boat, I'll be the first to apologize for spreading rumors.C
P.S. I think the news was wrong with the size. A friend has a 42' Fountain. This boat is the smaller boat docked right next to the Fountain, at Sylvan Point in Branford.

Re: Active Thunder Flips in LIS
We give our prayers to them here on the west cost for a full recovery.
I am a little nervous now, I have seen a few post's on A/T's rolling.
I am due to pic up a 32' A/T this week, and hope this is just driver error or not the proper training.

A 32' AT has very little in common with a 37' AVH, other than the name on the side of the boat.
