June flew by--especially if you've yet to have your boat in :( This weekend will be the first time this year. Unfortunately, it will be busy with a lot of people who have no business on the water. Can't wait though. :cool:

I've used both my house on the water, and my boat more this year than any of the past 3 up to this point. And I plan to be there for the next 10 days straight.

I made a commitment to myself to put hours on my motor this year, and I don't care what the wife says (Ed. note: she's not on here, so I can talk like I have huge cubes) I am sticking to my guns! Heck, I even got her to commit to a Poker Run in two weekends.

And today is my last day at this job, and I can live at the house on the water for the new job, so I can see some sunset cruising in my future!

Have only had one shakedown run and one run to haul it on the old boat. New one has idled from the marina to the house (on one motor) and one loop of the cove on plane to discover that the stbd motor won't run over 3500 RPM.

How am I going to burn out all the old gas at this rate?

LMAO......has been a mite "sticky" here lately.

I missed most of May, all of June, and just went back to work yesterday, put in five hours. (From my 8 week long kidney stone ordeal)

We in the northeast are getting our payback for a sucko summer last year. Been out 15 times as of last weekend and everyone better than the last :cool: .
I think I only got out 13 times all last season( if that's what you want to call it)

WOW, what a great 4th weekend.

Towed down to Lake Anna, VA on Friday night, and watched the fireworks on Saturday night. Trailered on Sunday morning, and towed back up to Downtown Washington DC, to watch the fireworks on the Capital. WHAT A NIGHT. Eneded up with a great slip with great friends right in the heart of Downtown DC for the night.

Many thanks to hospitality of Docmanrich25/Rich and the folks of Lake Anna, for letting us crash at their place, and use of the dock etc. etc.

Many thanks to Aggressor25/Ty and friends and family, for talking me into the fireworks on the Potomac in DC. What a great night that was; and a great day to follow.

I can't even express how much more I have enjoyed this season, over last.

I'm glad to report the wife just keeps stuffing money in my pockets, with a smile, to keep filling the gasd tank. I've ridden more this week than all of last summer. And IO plan to ride the next 4 days.

Brian, are you bringing Monsoon to the Central Poker Run? When are you bringing it to the Narrows?

I hit 55 hours this weekend. I spent 10 of those below 50deg. I can't stand to see open water no matter what the season. This weekend looks good too. Trip with the Parents Thursday, trip to GH on Fri night for SOTW, then back to GH for more SOTW then out with neighbors on Sunday. Could be a 10hr weekend...at least. :)

Brian , I have to work until 4pm on saturday. May try and make the run down before dark. If not I'll try and get everybody going early sunday. What time are you leaving Sunday? :D

Not 100% sure, but probably, mid-late afternoon. I just can't seem to get muffs to work on my drives very well, and may try to dip the drives in the Potomac before dark to flush out the salt from the Narrows. I have a slip at Mear's Point, and will be spending the night Saturday night. I believe Aggressor 25 is coming out with me.
