I feel your pain Mitch. This is looking out my back window. My damage is the mufflers aren't working. And I don't know if I can get them fixed before Smoke.

My work schedule for the next 6 weeks is crazy hectic!!!
Suggestions anyone??

Re: 4th of July Damage Report
Knocked a rim ( tri-axle trailer with boat aboard ) on a left-turn curb-type traffic island. This action unseated the tire from the bead. Didn't have the right lug-wrench to change the tire on the spot, and had to drive it about 5 miles home.
Perfectly good tire is now RIBBONS. . . . like in a little girls hair. . . . lookin at about a buck thirty for new rim/tire.

This website is awesome!! I've been entertained for the last two days by reading a bunch of threads (while the boat is down )
It's been great, a bunch of people have offered their help, their garages, and my friend C-Spray called us up and invited us out on their sweet Formula for today. We couldn't make it, but sure appreciate the offer!!
I also now feel fairly educated on the subject of drive couplers and am 100% sure that's what the problemo is I'll call some places tommorrow and see if I can get someone to do it for me. If nobody can, I'll do it myself. I've read probably 40 different threads from a 'Tech section" search and I have all of the telltale signs of the ole "coupler blow-out" syndrome. Metal shavings @ the transom and the driveshaft doesn't spin when I start the engine. I guess that I'm a little bit late in greasing that BEEOTCH. Live and learn, right?
Anyway, Thanks to all ....and the next time that someone around here has their boat break, I'll be giving you a call!
