What are these called?
The triangular stands that people set boats on...what is the technical name for them? I want to search for some (preferably with wheels) but I don't know what to search by...

Around here we call them shoring stands. Some attach to a railroad tie, some have legs.
But we don't put wheels under them or our boats will fall down. There is pressure to the outsides when you use these stands on a V bottom. The weight is carried on an angle. People usually even put wood down in stones so that the stands don't creep outward over time.
They're good for painting bottoms, because you can move them around and get the whole hull.

Ok, got it! Like, Duh, they're called "boat stands". http://www.boatstands.com/ These guys were super helpful. "Hostar" makes nice ones . they make several kinds ,straight or angled . I think mine adjust from 29" to 48" tall . They were $50 each . They have a web site .. Joe
