I would not be surprised if Bob Russel's boat ran faster than XXX. I thought we would see that in the NYC Poker Run, but Russel's boat broke. I wish someone had video of that boat when it was running, it simply amazes me that Fountain and Outerlimits are running these speeds. According to both videos from the Fountain and the Outerlimits, they were very stable.

I just saw bob russels boat in RI it had 1850hp racecrafters motors in it. He said it will go 175mph.

This is not true , The Rio Roses Boat was built by Fountain at the Fountain Plant and rigied by Randy Schism.

Speaking of the fastest Vee-Hull with 525's...Who would you guys say, are the fastest three(3) 38' to 42' boat out there with that power??? Dragon? Outerlimits? Hustler? And what are their speeds??? Ed :)

Yea and I seem to remember another boat that sports the huge BAJA logo on the sides that Bob Morgan has picked up a lot of offshore trophies with................seems like some cat builder named SKATER built it. But selling and being supported by someone else gets it to the finish line. I,s called business. Lets don't try and make it as if someone is trying to fool anyone. :blaster:

Actually "Rio Roses" is the old Zenetex boat that Jeff Harris ran in APBA. It is a vinyl ester boat built on the assembly line. The only boats that Skater built were some of the ones that had twin canopies on them.
