Default 25 foot talon ????

Gentleman:

Does anyone have any experience with the 25 foot talon? I'm looking at an outboard version with twin 2.5's. Would probably sell the motors and put new 300X motors on. How's the ride quality? Speed? I would be boating in lakes in Minnesota. How's the 300X for reliability? Any problems with it?

Hey Mike...
Here's a couple of recent threads with info on 300x's. Don't have experience with Talons but one thing I can guess is a 25 w/ T300s will probably haul a$$

Actually, I haven't seen a picture of the boat yet. It was white and yellow, but it's being repainted as we speak.

I don't know if I'd go that far. The boat will be fine in up to 3' sharp crested water. After that it's not comfortable. When you land, the boat will land hard though. Maybe that's what you are talking about.

I can't offer any advise. I will however request that you bring it down here and play with us on the Mississippi.
