Re: My Smoke pics
Thank you very much for the work, it was an honor to work on your boat. It was an awsome weekend, and it was great to see all the 41's SABERS together. I probadly slow a boat a little, and I diffently cause a list to one side or the other but I am moveable ballast. It was great to have so many freinds in our home town for a great event. Well I have to get the big dog ready for an other poker run this coming weekend, everybody have a good day. Thanks again Jim and Mary, see you in a couple weeks. Steve

Steve thanks again ! BTW He and his wife Krista have started a new business maintaining and transporting boats.......great people ! Jim I think this pic gives a little justice to Steve's detail work. See my reflection taking the picture? |

If that 27 Fountain is JIM VALAKEO's it only has about 750-775 HP.
But yes it does do about mid 90's. |

Well it looks like we dodged a bullet, Sterling says no real damage from the water and will have the motor off the dyno and ready for pick up today. The freak'n intercooler core simply broke  I want to thank both Saber and Sterling for busting their azz's to get this taken care of QUICKLY ! We're not gonna try for PRA this weekend but should be ready for East Sides run next week :drink:

But yes it does do about mid 90's. Congrats Jim. Happy to hear about your motor. I had a feeling after I saw it on Monday that you were going to be ok. Any details on the leopa run that leaves from monroe. Who what when where? Maybe I could come over and have you kick my azz. :drink: NK |

Nothing troubles me more than the day we decided to stop putting on Smoke On The Water
Mostly I miss the Make A Wish Kids and watching the fun they had going for rides all day But i also miss the entire event. We had so many great people participate and help us raise money for Make A Wish I fear things will never be as they were (maybe it is as it should be) Offshore boating continues to change These events are a massive amount of work but well worth it when the end result is some of the most awesome people, with the coolest hardware, attending a special event to help out less fortunate kids Brandon, This thread was fun to go back through and remember all the fun WS402, Thanks for bringing it back up :) |
