The 42' Comanche was available for lease/rent for poker runs here in the states. Crazy to see it show up in Sweeden.

my brother and his family live on Oland. and my dad just moved there from the westcoast to be closer to his kids and grandkids. as i am here and he is getting older and lonely.
what is the capenorth race?
is it all pleasure boats like a poker run here?
or?
how long and where do u go?
what is fuel price in sweden now? i left in 1984 and it was high then..
looks llike it was cold..

Have you been on Öland? It's a very beautiful place.
Anyway, CapeNorth info: www.capenorth.se It's not like a poker run with card stops.

The gas price really suck, I pay 11:- / liter (about $5 per gallon) for 98 octane. :mad:

wow u must think its pretty funny how we cry about 3.00 for gas.
yes i was on oland in 83 went for a motorcycle ride around the bottom of sweden from west coast gothenburg area up east coast and then back accross its nice,,was just cold and rainy..

Those triple blower engines must be fun to run at $5 a gallon or so.

well i am a jonas,
grew up in Onsala sweden, Gotskar.
worked at Zata motor in gothenburg
rode with onsala mc
went on trip to america got stuck in '83
been here ever since,
short sweet and too the point :D

anyway my whole family still over there
most live on the west coast but i have a brother and his family and my dad live on Oland on the east coast.

Just had Dad over here,,
he didnt like the fountain,,, too fast too scary,, he is a sailor.
and slow boater..he thought was crazy to burn 150 gallons of fuel,, :D
i took him too mexico and we went sailing,, he liked that,
