Sunsation dealer in SE Michigan?
 

Anyone know if there is a Sunsation dealer in SE Michigan, Detroit area? Metro Boat Sales used to handle Sunsation (maybe even this past winter) but I stopped in there today and they told me they are no longer a dealer.

Have you checked with premier motorsports in Gun Lake. Their web site is www.premierboating.com.

Dave, thanks - I was out at Selfridge for a bit the other day, and thought I'd take the long way back to the office ;) Imagine my surprise when all I found was fishing boats and Rinker cruisers; nice in their own way, but not the 288 I was hoping to eyeball :D

They have a good inventory of Rinker and Seaswirl but don't see any Sunsations.

Doc,

Wyandotte has a 288 windshield and Dominator Fairing model in stock and Victory has a 32 Winshield model in stock and couple fairing models on order. Stop by Metro Beach next Friday and Saturday for our annual "Owners Rally" and you can see about 80 Sunsations, new, old and upcoming.

Dave we might just do that - we *almost* bought a 288 a few years ago, back when Water's Edge was the dealer. Mama always said if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all, so.... let's just say that the boat was not the key factor in making our decision. ;)

Looks like Bayley won't make it, from reading it sounds like he's got motor troubles :(

Doc,

You said alot there, Water's edge sold alot of boats for us, but the concerns hitting us from those people who bought from them forced our hand. We we're acting as the local dealer for service and sales. While we'll never turn away any Sunsation owner, we still have a business to run and trying to do both was not an option. When you buy our product, you're not just buying a boat; your buying a company and a dealer as well. If they're all not 100%committed, then the consumer loses - thats a no go area as far as were concerned.
