We are going next weekend, leaving thursday night. Went on memorial day weekend for the first time in our own boat, had a great time. Where is "Too small to be known, Ohio"?

We are heading down to Dale Hollow 10 days....Wooo Hoooooooo
Can't wait to get away from it all here.

We have never launched at LC and now that we have a little size and power under us we are giving thought to coming over for the day and seeing the lake.

Launching at Grider, any suggestions to make a one day visit a good one?

In my opinion anywhere on Cumberland is a good time. There is a discussion on www.lakecumberland.com that you may want to ask.

Re: Anyone going to the Lake?

The place I am referring to is Zanesville, about 50 miles east of Columbus. tssteph is right. It all depends on what you like to do. If you like people, crowds, and partying then hit up the 76 falls, which is 5 min. (roughly) from Grider. A quiet place to chill or ski or whatever could be a number of places--Beaver Creek is also one of my favorites. Its also not far from Grider.
