Any lake st. clair boat slip/hotel destinations?
I've done sarnia many times and just wonder If I'm missing any others.
Don't like pulling the boat and driving home after a day on the water and I'm not willing to sleep in the coffin.
There must be somewhere to slip the boat with a place to stay close by.
Thanks for the help, John

Not many spots. St. Clair is surrounded by residential areas. Unless you want to ride 5 miles in a cab, there are no motels around. Metro Beach is always popular. Leave your boat there and stay in Mt Clemens On the Canadian side you may find something. I've stayed in Belle River but on the boat.

If you don't mind the long ride up the Clinton river to down town Mt Clemens.
There is a hotel and a lot of bars and restaurants.

Thanks for the help. At least I wasn't missing anything. I have pulled the boat and stayed in mt. clemens and just dropped it back in Sun. morn.
The next time I go will be the 24th, I think the sunsation and donzi people
will own metro. I've always launched at the sheriffs station. The ramp
Looks better than metro. Good Idea though I can have the truck close by
If I stay at metro. See you out there. John

for future reference... in anchor bay on one of the canals there is the harmony hotel with 22 rooms.. ONLY PLACE we could readily find on st. clair to house a number of folks and leave your boats in the water, so yes they have docks. and are not very expensive... problem is... we OWN the place next weekend.... July 23 - 25....

Thanks JR thats what I was looking for. I just bribed them to sell me one of your rooms. Just kidding. Chris, thanks for the offer, fountain hater.
We crawled in the coffin last night, I'm going to make a screen for the hatch and try it.
If I hate it I wont do it again. Maybe doing algonac harbor, Thanks again for the help. John
