Where to get older style large Drive oil bottles
 
Looking for a pair of the older style large drive oil bottles. Anyone have a set they want to part with ? or know where i can get a set.

I think your buddy Jay has a few broken ones out of his Baja laying around that you can have!!!

We just changed his over to the new style last weekend.

They are not for me. friend wants them for his boat. For some reason he says they work better. Seems to think the bigger the reservour the more oil circulation you get, therefore, the cooler the drive oil.

who knows. it's his $$.

Tell him ZERO circulation. The rez has nothing to do with the lube in his drive, it is for replenishing any lost (and hopefully will not happen :eek: ).

The lube in drive does not circulate into the bottle and vise a versa. with that said, the old round ones probably aren't worth the trouble and they look dated.

Thats right, no circulation, leaks always, is more expensive for just the bottle than the whole new kit. I have one you can buy, the other leaked and I put a bolt and clamp on it. Here is the site you want just in case. http://mercstuff.com/page03.htm
