Spark Plug question
 
Need a cross reference for a NGK V Power plug #r5673-8
This is running in a 502 Procharged motor. Need replacement plugs ASAP and cant find NGK's localy.

West Marine, and also Advanced discount auto parts should carry NGK's, Advanced may not stock them, since it has no automotive applications, amy be able to get them for you next day.

what's better, mucked up plugs, properly gapped or new plugs with the out-of-the-box gapping?

Mucked up and gapped right. You can clean them then you are left with the correct gap. If it is for a blower motor it is very important they are gapped right.
