In all Honesty, I think Fred may have lost the battle, but won the war.

Think about it, Fred is a little off from the rest of us, as in he REALLY cherishes making boats amazing and taking them to the next level, rather than pushing the sticks through the dash like the rest of us.

He may have sold all the boats he owns, but now he has EVERY SINGLE ONE of our boats to work on; AND HE FRICKING GETS PAID FOR IT!!!!

Case in point, is the steering wheel, hub, and cap that I purchased from him via the OSO Auctions. I won't go into details but he took care of me based on what was the best part for my boat.

And with that, I knew what I just stated above was true.

I thought the same thing until I realized that price was w/o power.

It was still a screaming deal, buy a set of Chief 950's and you have a 100 mile an hour bad ass refrigerator!!! All for @ 155,000 and change. I'd name it ugly duckling and take it to some big Lake Michigan water!

Ya know, the way Fred works, it is conceivable that he could end up buying the Sutphen back from the new owner, say a year from now, rebuilt it (again) and get it on the water before Jon.

Stranger things have happened....

I would have a horrible time selling something I put so much time in and not have taken for a ride. It's like training a social dog for a year and having to give it up. Well Fred, what is next on the agenda? Lets see an older Cig again or a Scarab from the past.
