Looking for new boat

Friend is looking for a 24-25ft boat.
Wants to do about 70mph, and wants a cuddy(for the ladies).

He was originally looking at Baja and Checkmate, 2 of the most popular HPs on the northern NY waters.
But he is now looking at others, like Pantera.
He be on the South Shore and doing coastal ocean runs, and wants a good offshore performer.
He is also looking for something now.

Anyone know of a good clean boat ready to go?

Lets hear it.

LS JR, you're the 2nd person to tell me to trade up.
If only I could scrounge up another 40-50k...
How easy is it to handle a 38 by yourself... at the dock.

Its a bit over $38K, but I know they want to really sell it. It won't do 70, but the cabin will make the wife really happy, and you can always strap a blower on it one day.

Check out the Exciter under Misc V's in the classifieds. Not much for a cabin, and goes just a bit over 70 but interesting none the less...
